Experienced teacher with over 25 years of international and local teaching experience. Although classically trained, I incorporate all styles of music into my teaching, based on the desires of the individual student. Traditional teaching methods are combined with current technology. We use iPad apps to improve theory, sight reading, ear training, and note identification skills, that add a fun element to the lessons. As a church pianist and organist, I lead and accompany the choir, which enables me to help students with skills such as accompanying, improvising, playing from a lead sheet and chord charts. Performance opportunities include recitals, concerts, group lessons, competitions, and more. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ- As a native of Belarus, I can teach piano in English or Russian. In lessons with Russian-speaking students, I often use Russian/Belarusian musical repertoire to cultivate them with traditions of native cultural. I also teach Russian language in group classes for kids from Russian speaking communities whose parents want their kids to communicate in their native language and preserve their national identity.
