I teach piano lessons at my home studio, located in Hyannis, MA, and I absolutely LOVE my job! My goal as a teacher is to enlighten students with the language of music, and impart in each of them a genuine love for music. These skills last a lifetime!
I have been teaching piano for over 25 years. I have Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano and Russian/Belarusian Language and Literature from Novopolotsk State Musical College and Gomel State University in Belarus.
After college, I pursued a career in music school as a piano teacher and accompanist, and served as the principal of Osveya Music School in Belarus. During that time, I prepared my students for successful performances in regional and international piano competitions and for enrollment in musical colleges. I worked for the Mayor’s Administration of the City of Polotsk as a cultural specialist for ten years. I organized concerts and festivals, utilizing my experience from my work at the music school.
In 2010, I came to the USA and started teaching private piano lessons and Russian language group lessons. I currently maintain a studio of about 30 students and serve as the choir director and pianist/organist at Bourne United Methodist Church and Cataumet Methodist Church. I’m available to play for weddings, provide piano music for various events, and teach piano lessons in cape-cod area.
I am a member of MTN (Music Teachers National Association), MMTA (Massachusetts Music Teachers Association).
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, swimming, hiking, reading, crafting.
